ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by J. NISHA BANU, J.) The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition for a direction directing the respondents 1 to 4 to restructure the toilets and to provide water & lighting facility for the people residing at Mallapuram Village, Guziliamparai Taluk, Dindigul District.

2.It is the specific contention of the petitioner that though the Assistant Director of Rural Office, Dindigul District vide proceedings dated 31.01.2025, directed the second respondent to take action with regard to the 2/6

grievance of the petitioner, the same is kept pending till date without any progress. Therefore, he has filed this Writ Petition with the aforesaid prayer. 3.The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the same would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed on its own merits within a period that may be stipulated by this Court. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we direct the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner, based on the proceedings of the Assistant Director of Rural Office, Dindigul District, dated 31.01.2025, after giving sufficient opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
