O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking transfer of investigation in Crime No.180 of 2015, from the file of the second respondent Police to the file of the first respondent Police or to the file of any other independent investigation officer, for fair and speedy investigation.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that the petitioner's son by name Subash Chandra Bose, aged about 38 years, was married to one Kasthuri and committed suicide by hanging on 20.08.2015, and in connection with which a case, in Crime No.180 of 2015, under Section 174 Cr.P.C., was registered by the second respondent Police and investigation is in progress. The petitioner is not satisfied with the investigation by the second respondent Police and therefore she has filed this petition seeking the relief as stated above.

4. Taking into consideration the nature of allegations made in the F.I.R., this Court is of the view that this is not a fit case to direct the respondent Police for transfer of investigation. However, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sankarankovil, Tirunelveli District, is directed to monitor the investigation, in Crime No.180 of 2015, pending on the file of the second respondent Police. The Investigation Officer is directed to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible and after completion of investigation, he is directed to furnish a copy of the final report to the petitioner so as to enable her to workout her remedy in the manner known to law.

5. With the above directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
