ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition invoking Article 227 of the Constitution of India praying for a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, Pudukkottai, to dispose of the petition in H.M.O.P.No.73 of 2017 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Even though the name of the respondent is printed in the cause list, there is no representation on behalf of the respondent.

3. The revision petitioner, who is wife of the respondent herein, has filed a petition in H.M.O.P.No.73 of 2017, on the file of the Sub Court, Pudukkottai, for divorce and the same has been adjourned periodically for the past 1 1⁄2 years without any progress. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition seeking a direction to dispose the H.M.O.P.No.73 of 2017, within a stipulated time.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for by the revision petitioner, without going into the merits and demerits of the allegation raised by the revision petitioner, this civil revision petition is disposed of with the following direction: "The learned Subordinate Judge, Pudukkottai, is directed to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.73 of 2017, pending on his file, on merits and in accordance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on day to day basis, without giving any further adjournment."
