ORDER

The present petition has been filed by A1 and A2 in P.R.C.No.82 of 2025 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Tiruchendur, seeking to quash the charge sheet wherein they are charged with the offence under Sections 296(b), 118(1), 109(1), 351(3) and 49 of BNS, 2023.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, now the case has been transferred and renumbered as S.C.No.254 of 2026 on the file of the II Additional District and Sessions Court, Thoothukudi.

3. Pending trial, the parties have entered into a compromise wherein the defacto complainant had agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

4. Today, the defacto complainant is present in-person and he acknowledges the fact that he had agreed for quashing of the Charge Sheet. He further submits that he has no objection whatsoever to the quashing of proceedings against the other accused persons as well, who are not petitioners 2/5

herein.

5. Considering the above said facts, charge sheet in S.C.No.254 of 2026 on the file of the II Additional District and Sessions Court, Thoothukudi, is hereby quashed.
