PRAYER: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent No.1 and 2 not to grant any layout approval with regard to property situated in Old S.No.318/3C and New S.No.38/3C its sub division Survey Numbers 38/3C1, 38/3C2 and 38/3C3, Sakkimangalam Second Bit Village, Madurai East and Madurai District by considering the petitioners representation dated 06.03.2025 and also provide affordable personal hearing to the petitioner within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Honourable Court.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents 1 and 2 not to grant layout approval for the property situated in Old S.No. 318/3C and New S.No. 38/3C, along with its subdivision in Survey Nos.38/3C1, 38/3C2 and 38/3C3, Sakkimangalam Second Bit Village, Madurai East, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.03.2025 and to provide an affordable personal hearing to the petitioner.

2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Having regard to the nature of the order proposed to be passed in this writ petition, notice to the respondents 3 to 7 is dispensed with.
3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2, by circulating a written communication dated 28.03.2025, stated that the layout approval file has been returned to the private respondents and that there is no pending file with the respondents 1 and 2.
4. Since the layout approval file for the property in question itself has been returned by the second respondent, there is nothing remains for further adjudication. Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
