ORDER

The revision petitioner herein filed Pauper O.P.No.158 of 2016 before the Principal District Court, Thoothukudi. The revision petitioner sought certain monetary reliefs against her own father. The revision petitioner is admittedly an Engineering graduate. Even according to the averments set out in the Pauper O.P., her mother is working as a Teacher. She is under the care of her uncle, who is a medical professional. If the petitioner is of the view that her father is bound to maintain her, it is certainly open to the petitioner to file a petition under Section 125 of Cr.P.C. Instead, she has chosen to file a suit claiming that her father must pay her a sum of Rs.30,00,000/- [Rupees Thrity Lakhs only] for her marriage expenses.

2.It is obviously a case of luxury litigation. This Court is of the view that the trial Court was justified in dismissing the petitioner's pauper O.P. by the impugned order. This Court finds no merit in this case. This Civil Revision Petition is dismissed, accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
