.. Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 4th respondent to remove the encroachment in Alangulam Tank situated in T.S.No.6088/2 in Block No.90, 91 and 92 of Pudukkottai Municipality Ward No.25.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner has come up with this petition seeking a direction to the 4th respondent to remove the encroachment in Alangulam Tank situated in T.S.No.6088/2 in Block No.90 91 and 92 of Pudukkottai Municipality Ward No.25.

2.According to the petitioner, it is a poramboke land. But the learned Government Advocate would submit that it is only a private land, as it is classified as Natham land. Since there is a dispute regarding the nature of the classification of the land, it is for the petitioner to work out his remedy elsewhere. Therefore, no relief as prayed for can be granted. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
