ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, Pudukkottai for speedy disposal of the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.118 of 2017.

2. The facts of the case are that the marriage between the petitioner and the respondent was solemnized on 29.08.2016. Due to family dispute, the petitioner herein has filed H.M.O.P.No.118 of 2017 before the Subordinate Court, Pudukkottai, seeking divorce. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the respondent, instead of contesting the said proceedings, is obtaining mechanical adjournments and hence, the petitioner is before this Court seeking early disposal of the said H.M.O.P., proceedings.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, it is represented by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that due to the intervention of family elders, the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and the respondent has agreed for the relief sought for in H.M.O.P.No.118 of 2017. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present petition and the same may be closed. A joint compromise memo in USR No.6036 of 2018, signed by both the parties has also been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Recording the said joint compromise memo, this Civil Revision Petition is closed. The joint compromise memo in USR No.6036 of 2018 shall form part of the order. No costs.
