This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to register the case based upon the petitioner's complaint dated 25.01.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the State.

3. On a reading of the complaint dated 25.01.2016, it is seen that the respondent have conducted enquiry on the petitioner's complaint and closed the same on the ground that the entire cause of action has not taken place within the jurisdiction of the respondent police and hence, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent police to register the F.I.R. on the complaint of the petitioner dated 25.01.2016. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to lodge a fresh complaint containing the same contents as found in the complaint dated 25.01.2016 before the jurisdictional police and on such receipt of the complaint, the same shall be enquired into and action shall be taken in accordance with law.
