This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.16 of 2017 registered for the offences under Sections 468, 471 and 420 of I.P.C.

2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that the respondent police completed the investigation and submitted a final report to him for approval. 3.The submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. However, since the case is pending from 2017, it would be appropriated to give some direction to the Investigation Officer to file the final report within a stipulated time.
