ORDER:- This Criminal Original Petition coming on for orders on this day for extension of time and upon perusing the earlier orders of this Court dated 24/10/2019,09/10/2020 and 26/07/2021 and the requisition Letter in D.No.761, Dated 29/07/2022, received from the Judicial Magistrate-II,Srivilliputhur, this Court made the following order:

The Criminal Original Petition is listed today, under the caption 'for extension of time'.

2. It is evident from the records that this Court vide order, dated 24.10.2019 has directed the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputhur, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.49 of 2018 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of that

order. Subsequently, at request of the learned Magistrate, six months further time was granted vide order, dated 09.10.2020 and again six months time was granted vide order, dated 26.07.2021.

3. Now, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputhur has submitted a requistion, dated 29.07.2022, seeking extension of two months further time, wherein it has been stated that previously witness warrant was pending against L.W.15 and subsequently, witness warrant was re-called and the said witness was examined and that the case now stands posted for the examination of L.W.16.

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and also the reasons assigned by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputhur, this Court is inclined to grant time as sought for and accordingly two months time is granted to dispose of the case in C.C.No.49 of 2018 from today.
