When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has been compromised between the parties out of the Court and seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition.

2. At this juncture, the learned Counsel for Government for the first respondent submits that the case has been closed as "further action dropped", because of the compromise reached between the parties.

3. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
