O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) This Contempt Petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the order passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in W.P(MD).No.27205 of 2022 dated 02.12.2022.

2. Today, when this contempt petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.A.Thiruvadi Kumar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent has submitted that the request of the petitioner having been considered, the Government has accepted the plea for premature release of the detenu and accordingly, G.O.(Ms).No.274, Home (Prison-IV) Department, dated 10.06.2023 has been passed.

3. A copy of the said Government Order has also been produced before this Court by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. In view of the said compliance, we feel that this contempt petition need not be persuaded further. Hence, it is closed.
