ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. 2.The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus, directing the respondents to include his name in the panel for promotion which is in respect of the year 1999. It is stated that the petitioner is not in service. However, he claims that he is entitled to get his name included in the said panel so that he will get some service benefit out of such inclusion.

3.This Court is not inclined to go into the merits and contentions raised by the petitioner and give a finding on the same as it is seen that the petitioner has already approached the respondents on 24.01.2012 and again on 23.06.2014, by making representations seeking for the very same benefit. is for the first respondent to consider those representations and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
