Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner seeks issuance of patta. The respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's request and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the respondent to pass orders one way or the other. I am not able to direct the respondent to conduct survey because the petitioner is not having patta in his favor. 3.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
