O R D E R

This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 24.04.2024.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner lodged a complaint before the second respondent as against one Sundarapandi and a case in crime No.525 of 2023 was registered and the same is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Srivilliputhur. While so, during the said pendency of the case, the said Sundarapandi has been indulging unlawful activity and causing life threat to the petitioner and his family members and thereby, he lodged a complaint before the second respondent, on 24.04.2024 through registered post and thereafter, no action was taken by the second respondent. Therefore, he filed this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.Side) for the respondents would submit that the petitioner, earlier, lodged the complaint against Sundarapandi and they registered the case in Crime No.525 of 2023 and thereby, they conducted investigation and filed Final Report. Page No. 2 of 5

Now, the case is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Srivilliputhur. While so, again the petitioner sent a representation on 24.04.2024 through registered post, but did not appear for enquiry. However, the said representation is still pending and they will complete the enquiry and dispose of the same within a week.

4. The prayer sought for in this petition is to consider the representation of the petitioner and now, the same is under consideration by the second respondent. In view of the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.Side), the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 24.04.2024 and take appropriate decision in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of this order.

5. With the abovesaid observations and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
