O R D E R

Though the prayer in the writ petition is to quash the suspension order dated 21.01.2015, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the date is wrongly mentioned, as the correct order of suspension is dated 29.05.2014. The learned counsel for the petitioner has therefore requested to amend the prayer. The petitioner is granted permission to correct the date of suspension order in this writ petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate for the respondent has now produced the proceedings of the Superintendent of police, Ramanathapuram District, dated 03.04.2017, whereby the petitioner is taken back to duty with immediate effect without prejudice to the pending cases in Crime No.3 of 2014, under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act. The petitioner is also directed to report for duty at the District Police Office, Ramanathapuram, for further posting.

4.Recording the proceedings of the Superintendent of Police, Ramanathapuram District, this Court finds that there is no need for further adjudication in the present writ petition. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
