ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- This Court, by order dated 19.08.2020, directed the trial Court to expedite the trial in C.C.No.91 of 2019, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order.

2. Now, vide letter dated 28.10.2020, a request has been made by the I Additional Special Court for NDPS Act Cases, Madurai, seeking extension of six months time, stating that due to lock down owing to COVID-19 pandemic situation, trial could not be conducted, within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. Considering the request made, time granted by this Court, vide order dated 19.08.2020, in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.7721 of 2020, is extended by six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
