The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents Nos.1 to 5 herein in to remove the encroachment made by the 6th respondent and restore the public pathway in Survey No.98/3, Thirumanamedu(West), Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District, on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 12.12.2022.

Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would state that in respect of the lands in Survey No.98/3, a civil suit in O.S.No.219 of 2024 is pending before the learned Principal District Munsif Court, Lalgudi.

Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of leaving it open to the parties to redress their grievance in the pending suit. No costs.
