This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take action against the fifth respondent, for his illegal construction at Plot No.170, in Survey No.339/4A, 345/1, situated at Madakulam Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District.

2.Today(07.09.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Sarangan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 3 submits that based on the 2/5

application of the petitioner, enquiry has already been contemplated as against the fifth respondent by the District Collector and it would be concluded within a reasonable period.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader and without expressing anything on the merits of the claim of the petitioner in this writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Collector, Madurai/the first respondent herein to conclude the enquiry within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
