ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission to perform the program of Adal Padal on 01.08.2018 night at about 07.00 pm to 12.00 pm in connection with temple festival at Arulmigu Alagu Nachiamman Thirukkovil situated at Kundanenthalpatti, Piramanampatti, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District and to provide adequate police protection based on the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2018.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation on 08.06.2018 to the second respondent and on the said representation, there is no order has been passed by the second respondent. Therefore, he filed this writ petition. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on bahalf of the respondents, would submit that the program is scheduled to be held on 01.08.2018. The petitioner made a representation only on 08.06.2018. Immediately, he approached this Court with the aforesaid prayer.
5.As rightly pointed out by the learned Additional Government Pleader that the program is scheduled to be held on 01.08.2018 and the representation made on 08.06.2018, therefore, this Court cannot entertain this writ petition. However, this order will not stand in the way of considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2018. The second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2018 on merits and in accordance with law. 6.With the above observation, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
