O R D E R

The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to pass order to pay pension and other service benefits based on petitioner's letter dated 22.02.2018, within reasonable time.

2. Heard Mr.N.Sundaresan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Seetharaman, learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, for the past one and a half years, the pension papers were not processed by the respondent. Therefore, in this regard, the petitioner had given a representation on 22.02.2018 to the respondent and if the said representation is directed to be considered within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court, the petitioner would be satisfied.

4. I have heard Mr.P.Seetharaman, learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent, who would submit that the process is on and certainly, the said representation of the petitioner dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

22.02.2018 would be considered and a suitable order to that effect will be passed within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

5. Considering the submissions made by both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction: "that the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.02.2018 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
