Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to give the Sub Inspector of Police pension from the petitioner's retirement dated 30.04.2015 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2015.

O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed the petitioner viz.,P.Cycil, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to give Sub Inspector of Police pension from the date of retirement ie., from 30.04.2015 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2015.

2.The petitioner, who was working as Sub Inspector of Police, has voluntarily retired from service on 30.04.2015. After retirement, the pension for the petitioner is calculated only for the post of Special Sub Inspector of Police. Now, the petitioner is receiving Special Sub Inspector of Police pension. In this regard, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondents 2 and 3 on 23.07.2015 to give pension for the post of Sub Inspector of Police from the date of his retirement. The said representation has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ petition. 3.Mr.S.Bharathi, the learned Government Advocate took notice for the respondents and submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

4.Recording the said statement, without going into the merits of the matter the 3rd respondent is hereby directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2015 and pass orders on merits and in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

accordance with law in the light of the proceedings dated 23.04.2015, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
