ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.R.Janarthanam, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. 2.The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to appoint him to the post of Assistant Medical Officer (Sidha Aurveytha Unani Homeopathy) in the Department of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy in Tamilnadu Medical Service 2009-2012 under reservation for physically handicapped quota based on his representation dated 06.09.2014. 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that he is a physically handicapped person and secured 154.

5 marks out of 300 in the examination conducted by the respondents for selection and appointment to the post of Assistant Medical Officer and even though he secured the above marks, he was not selected and appointed. Therefore, he made two representations one on 20.12.2013 and another on 06.09.2014. It is stated that those representations are still pending and not yet considered. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

4.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the first respondent to consider those representations of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
