This petition is filed seeking quashment of FIR in Crime No.416 of 2018 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Vedasandur Police Station, Vedasandur, Dindigul District. 2.The matter was listed today for the appearance of second respondent since on earlier occasion, it has been submitted before this Court that the matter has been compromised between the parties and the second respondent has received a sum of Rs.10 lakhs from the learned Principal District Judge, Dindigul, in O.S.No.234 of 2018. 3.As per the direction of this Court, the second respondent is present in person before this Court and he was also identified by the first respondent police. On enquiry, he would submit that he had received a sum of Rs.10 lakhs from the learned Principal District https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that after investigation, further action has been dropped on the basis of the compromise reached between the parties and final report also filed before the concerned Court as 'Further Action Dropped'. 5.Since final report has been filed before the concerned Court as 'Further Action Dropped', nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this petition. Hence, the matter has become infructuous.
6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
