Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide the rabi crop insurance claim amount under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana Scheme to the petitioner based on the premium amount paid through the Co-operative Society, for the rabi crop 2016-2017 with interest based on the petitioner's representations dated 22.12.2017 and 04.05.2018 respectively and the third respondent vide Letter No.E2/997/2020 dated 21.06.2021 within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to provide rabi crop insurance claim amount under the 'Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana Scheme' to the petitioner based on the premium amount paid by him through the Cooperative Society, for the year 2016-2017, based on the petitioner's representations dated 22.12.2017 and 04.05.2018 respectively, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2.Heard Mr.S.Sivaprakash, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. 3.The representations given by the petitioner have already been forwarded by the third respondent to the fifth respondent, who is the competent authority to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation. The petitioner claims that he is entitled for rabi crop insurance claim amount under the 'Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana Scheme' for the year 2016-2017. It is for the respondents to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner including granting him the right of personal hearing.
4.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the fifth respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representations, dated 22.12.2017 and 04.05.2018, which have also been forwarded by the third respondent vide his, Letter No.E2/997/2020, dated 21.06.2021, to the fifth respondent, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner, including granting him the right of personal hearing.
5.With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
