ORDER

The petitioner has come to this Court seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.07.2014 for transferring the petitioner from the second respondent office Sathankulam, Tuticorin District to the office of third respondent office, Tirunelveli on the ground that he is having several ailments. 2.But this Court is not accepting the reason given by the petitioner, since the distance between the second respondent office at Tuticorin and the third respondent Office at Tirunelveli is only 50 km. Although, the petitioner seeks a direction to consider the representation given by him on 01.07.2014, I find no justification in the writ petition, because a distance of 50 km is not a matter today. Therefore, the writ petition is fails and dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
