Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to sanction NOTIONAL PROMOTION to the petitioner and directing the 2nd respondent to pay Rs.22,23,102/- and all monetary benefits with 18% interest p.a arising out of NOTIONAL PROMOTION and Rs.2000/- cash award for 25 years unblemished service and to return Rs.66/- recovered from my salary with 18% interest as claimed in the petitioners representation dated 15.12.2016 For Petitioner : M/s.M.Sudha Rani For Respondent : Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, Special Government Pleader

This Contempt Petition is filed to punish the respondent for wilful and deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P(MD)No.23935 of 2017 dated 28.03.2019.

2. It is seen that vide order dated 28.03.2019, this Court directed the authorities to consider the representation of the petitioner and on the representation of the petitioner, the respondent has passed an order dated 16.12.2019 in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont.P(MD)No.918 of 2020 Rc.No.22477/2019/N1.

3. In such view of the matter, this contempt petition is closed. If the petitioner is so aggrieved, he is at liberty to challenge the said order, dated 16.12.2019, in the manner known to law.
