The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking direction upon the second respondent to register a case, based on his complaint, dated 02.01.2016.

2. No representation for the petitioner on account of boycott.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

4. It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents that a case has been registered in Crime No.76 of 2016, on the basis of the complaint of the petitioner dated 02.01.2016. The said statement is recorded.

5. In view of the above statement made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), nothing survives in this petition. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
