Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission to perform the program of Adal Padal on 18.06.2018 night at about 07.00 pm to 12.00 am in connection with temple festival at "Sri Maha Mariyamman, Sri Vaduvachiyamman & Sri Vinayagar Temple festival" Dhiranipalayam Village, Dhiranipalayam Post, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District based on the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2018.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission to perform the program of Adal Padal on 18.06.2018 night at about 07.00 pm to 12.00 am in connection with temple festival at "Sri Maha Mariyamman, Sri Vaduvachiyamman and Sri Vinayagar Temple festival" Dhiranipalayam Village, Dhiranipalayam Post, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District based on the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation on 11.06.2018 to the respondents, seeking permission to conduct Adal Padal program scheduled to be held on 18.06.2018 and on the said representation, no order has been passed by the respondents. Therefore, he filed this writ petition.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on bahalf of the respondents, would submit that the petitioner made a representation only on 11.06.2018 and he approached this Court, seeking for permission to perform program on 18.06.2018 (today). Hence, the said representation of the petitioner cannot be considered.

5.In the light of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court cannot entertain this writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed. However, this order will not stand in the way of considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2018. The second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2018 on merits and in accordance with law. 6.With the above observation, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
