O R D E R

This petition is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.476 of 2017 pending on the file of the first respondent police. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the State.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not involved in any commission of offence as alleged by the respondent police. Hence, he prays to quash the proceedings in the above said crime number. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), on instructions, would submit that the above said Crime No.476 of 2018 has been registered on 08.12.2017 against the accused persons for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 506(i) of IPC. He further submitted that already several complaints have been received from various persons against the petitioner and in this case enquiry is going on.

5. Considering the above said submission, at this stage this Court is not inclined to interfere in the investigation. However, taking into consideration of the fact that the case has been registered in the year 2017, the first respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and to file final report before the Court concerned, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
