The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the request of the petitioner for issuance of patta. The petitioner has made a representation on 14.03.2025. 1/4
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the petitioner is yet to make an online application seeking issuance of patta and written representation, dated 14.03.2025 would not suffice.
4. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to make necessary online application, if not already made, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. On such online application made, the respondent shall proceed to consider the request of the petitioner for issuance of patta based on the documents relied on by the petitioner and after affording an opportunity to the petitioner by way of personal hearing. The said exercise shall be concluded within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of online application to be filed by the petitioner.
