This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking police protection on the basis of the representation dated 27.02.2019. 2.The case of the petitioner is that a false case has been foisted by using the vehicle bearing Reg.No.TN 48 K 5496. He has also filed Public Interest Litigation before this Court in W.P.(MD) No.19682 of 2018. Subsequent to the above petition, threat has been made by the police constable attached to the fourth respondent police. Regarding the above false case, W.P(MD) No.4575 of 2019 was 1/3

filed before this Court and counter was directed to be filed in that matter. At this juncture, he is facing life threat at the hands of the fifth respondent.

3.It is to be noted that the petitioner seeks police protection against police officials.

4.However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that after filing this petition, there is no harassment at the hands of the respondent police.
