This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to get along with the enquiry against the petitioner, under Section 203 of Tamil Nadu Panchayat Act, after issuing show cause notice and furnishing the relevant documents and other materials to her.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

It is a common knowledge that the posts of President, Vice President, etc., are no more in existence and therefore, this Court is of the view that no further order is required to be passed in this petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
