PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to provide patta to the petitioner in Survey Nos.211/1B, 211/2 in an extent of two cents situated at Baiyoor Pillaivayal Village Group, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District by considering the representations dated 15.05.2019 and 23.10.2019 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to issue patta for the property in S.Nos.211/1B and 211/2 measuring to an extent of 2 cents situated at Baiyoor Pillaivayal Village Group, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2.Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it is suffice, if a direction is issued to the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.10.2019. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.7917 of 2020 23.10.2019 would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.In agreement with the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.10.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the interested parties, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.This Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
