O R D E R

The petitioner challenges the impugned refusal check slip dated 30.07.2025 issued by the first respondent. By the said proceedings, the sale deed presented by the petitioner for registration of the property comprised in Survey Nos. 515/9, 515/10 and 515/11, measuring an extent of 0.08.0 hectares, situated at Thekkattoor Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Thirumayam Sub-Registration District, Pudukottai District, in favour of the purchaser, came to be rejected.

2. The first respondent passed the impugned refusal check slip on the ground that the petitioner had not produced a legal heirship certificate, as the property originally belonged to one Sinthumani @ Muthadaikkanand, whom the petitioner claims to be his daughter.

3. Mr. S. Alagusundar, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the petitioner is willing to produce the legal heirship certificate before the first respondent and requested that the impugned refusal check slip be set aside. The said submission is taken on record. 2/4

In light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of and the impugned refusal check slip issued by the first respondent in Refusal No. RFL/Thirumayam/65/2025 dated 30.07.2025 is hereby set aside. The petitioner is directed to produce the legal heirship certificate before the first respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon such production, the first respondent shall register the sale deed, if it is otherwise in order, strictly in accordance with law, within a further period of two weeks.

5. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
