This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give permission and police protection for fixing the Muhurthakal and conducting the festival in Arulmigu Muthalamman Temple situated at Thethampatti Village, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2023. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel on either side submit that since the festival date is already over, the matter has become infructuous and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication. 2/4
