2369 of 2018 pending before the II Additional District Judge, Special Court/ SC/ST(PA) Act, Tirunelveli District filed under Section 200 of the code of Criminal Procedure Code and quash the same as illegal and to transfer the private complaint to any other court outside Tirunelveli District. ORDER:- These Criminal Original Petitions coming on for orders on this day under the caption "for extension of time" and upon perusing the earlier orders of this Court dated 24.10.2019, 02.12.2020 and 06.09.2021 and requisition letter submitted by the Sessions Judge, Special Court for Trial of Cases under SC & ST(POA)Act, Thoothukudi, vide letter in D.No.284/22, dated 25.04.2022, this Court made the following order:- This matter is listed today under the caption 'for extension of time'.

2.It is seen from the records that this Court vide order, dated 24.10.2019, directed the learned II Additional District Judge, Special Court, SC/ST (POA) Act Cases, Tirunelveli, to complete the trial in Cr.M.P.No.2369 of 2018 within a period of six months from https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.3408 of 2019 the date of receipt of copy of that order. Subsequently, at the instance of the learned trial Judge, six months further time was granted vide order, dated 02.12.2020. Now, the Sessions Judge, Special Court, SC/ST (POA) Act Cases, has sent a requisition, dated 25.04.2022, seeking four months further time to dispose of the case. 3.Considering the reasons assigned and also the Covid-19 restrictions imposed, this Court is inclined to grant four months time as sought for by the learned Sessions Judge. 4.Accordingly, four months time is granted for disposing the above case from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
