PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No.6 of 2018 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Madurai and quash the same.

ORDER

The present petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.6 of 2018 registered for the offence under Sections 406, 420, 120 (b) IPC and Section 5 of Tamil Nadu Protection of Interest of Depositors (In Financial Establishment) Act, 1997.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the first respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), today when the matter is taken up for hearing, submitted that the Investigating Officer has completed the enquiry and laid the final report on 25.12.2018 and the learned Magistrate also has taken cognizance of the offence and the matter is now pending in C.C.No.2 of 2019.

4. The said statement of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) is recorded. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report, if there are grounds available for her. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
