Respondent PRAYER: This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent to take the complaint of the petitioner dated 03.02.2016 into investigation and register the same in accordance with law and file final report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate Court within the time limit stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking direction upon the respondent to register a case, based on her complaint, dated 03.02.2016.

2. No representation for the petitioner on account of boycott.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) has submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.16 of 2016.

5. In view of the above submission, the respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and complete the same within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent Police shall take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in Lalitha Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P & others, reported in [2013

(4) Crimes 243 (SC). In case of closure of the complaint, a copy of the closure report be furnished to the petitioner within a week of such closure. On receipt of the same, it is open to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
