Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records in Government Order (Ms) No.71, dated 30.05.2014 of School Education (TRB) Department and quash the same as illegal and consequently, direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's candidature as eligible for appointment as Graduate Assistant. For Petitioner : Mr.T.Vadivelan For R1 and R3 : Mrs.S.Srimathy, Special Government Pleader.

For R2 : Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, Special Government Pleader.

ORDER

The Government Order issued in G.O.Ms.No.71, School Education (TRB) Department, dated 30.05.2014, is under challenge in the present Writ Petition.

2.The Government Order was challenged by way of a Writ Petition and the matter went up to the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in C.A.No.10700 of 2016, upheld the validity of the Government Order, dated 30.05.2014. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.In view of the fact that the Government Order has already been upheld, the present Writ Petition deserves no merit consideration. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
