ORDER

This Sub Application has been filed by the Petitioner, to reopen the Contempt Petition No.765 of 2022, stating that the Respondents have not paid the amount to the Petitioner as per the order of the Writ 1/4

Court, dated 05.14.2019 as well as the assurance given by the Respondents before the Contempt Court on 11.09.2023. 2.

This Court heard Ms.Kalpana, the learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr.D.Sadiq Raja, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the Respondents.

Today, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the Respondents has produced a copy of the proceedings, dated 24.12.2024, passed by the 2nd Respondent herein, District Educational Officer, Valliyur, Tirunelveli District and submits that the entire payment had already been made to the Petitioner, as per the judgement and order of the Writ Court, dated 05.04.2019 as well as the order passed by the Contempt Court, dated 11.09.2023. Thus, he further submits that as the payment had already been made to the Petitioner, there is no justification to pass any further order in the present Sub Application and accordingly, the same may be closed. 4.

The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner had already received the entire payment, as per the judgement and order of the Writ Court, dated 05.04.2019 as well as the order passed by the Contempt Court, dated 11.09.2023 and in this regard, the Petitioner 2/4

has also received a copy of the proceedings, dated 24.12.2024 of the 2nd Respondent, the District Educational Officer, Valliyur, Tirunelveli District, dated. Thus, she submits that she has no objection if the present Sub Application is closed. 5.

After considering the arguments of the learned counsel for the parties and after perusal of the proceedings, dated 24.12.2024, passed by the 2nd Respondent herein, the District Educational Officer, Valliyur, Tirunelveli District, this Court is fully satisfied that the Respondents have fully complied with the judgement and order of the Writ Court, dated, 05.04.2019 as well as the directions issued by the Contempt Court, on 11.09.2023 and that the Petitioner had already been paid with the entire dues.

In view of the above, the present Sub Application is finally disposed of. The File is consigned to Record. There is no order as to costs. Srcm 3/4
