Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the Central Bureau of Investigation submitted that investigation has already been completed and the final report has been filed before the competent court and the case is now pending on the file of the Sessions-cum-Mahila Court, Tiruchirappalli, in S.C.No.48 of 2020.

3. In view of the above submission, no further orders are required in this writ petition. However, since final report has been filed long back and the trial has also been commenced, the learned Sessions Judge, Sessions-cum-Mahila Court, Tiruchirappalli, is requested to expedite the trial by avoiding unnecessary adjournments at the instance of either of the parties and dispose of the matter in 5/8

accordance with law. Since the matters of this nature are to be disposed of as expeditiously as possible in the interest of public, the learned Sessions Judge, Sessions-cum-Mahila Court, Tiruchirappalli, is expected to take all efforts to dispose of the case in S.C.No.48 of 2020 as expeditiously as possible.
