ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.02.2022 and his application dated 08.11.2021. 2.The petitioner has sent a representation dated 26.02.2022 to the respondents with a request to issue licence in the name of the petitioner.

3.It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner had purchased Velmurugan Saw Mill Mahinery and Velmurugan Saw Mill Licence from the original licensee, namely V.Velu @ Raja Mohammed on 03.11.2021. In this connection, the petitioner has approached the respondents with a request to transfer the licence in the name https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

of the petitioner. It is submitted that though the representation of the petitioner has been received, no action has been taken. 4.The learned Government Pleader for the respondents, on instructions, submits that appropriate orders will be passed on the representation of the petitioner dated 26.02.2022 within a period of 6 weeks.

5.Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the official respondents, the writ petition stands disposed of by directing the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 26.02.2022 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
