ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed by the petitioners, seeking transfer investigation relating to the case in Crime No.149 of 2015 which is pending on the file of the sixth respondent police, to any other independent agency or C.B.C.I.D. Officer, under the direct supervision of the respondents-1 & 2 and further direction to file the final report in the said case, within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions from Mr.V. Eswaran, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Perungudi Police Station, who is also present before this Court, submits that the investigation of the case in Crime No.149 of 2015 has been concluded and the final report was also filed, before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi, for the offences under Section 457 & 380 of the I.P.C., and the same was taken on file in C.C. No. 55 of 2017.

3. Under such circumstances, this Court is of the view that nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition and the same is accordingly, closed.
