O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by V.BHARATHIDASAN, J.) Alleging that the petitioner's son by name Soundarapandi, aged about 34 years, is found missing, the petitioner has made a complaint before the second respondent police, on 13.04.2021. But, so far no action has been taken to secure the detenu. Hence, the present Habeas Corpus Petition.

2.Earlier, this Court directed the respondent police to complete the investigation and secure the detenu and also directed the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Usilampatti, to monitor the investigation and file a report before this Court, on 02.09.2021. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.S.Ravi, learned Standing counsel appearing for the State on instructions would submit that the petitioner's son gone to Kerala and the second respondent police has traced out him and he has affected with Corona and he has also called his father through video conferencing. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.689 of 2021 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner appeared through video conferencing along with the petitioner Selvam and would state that the petitioner's son called his father through video conferencing. 5.Considering the above facts, we find that the detenu is not illegally detained.
