ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner for a direction directing the respondents herein to refund the amount of Rs.75,860/- which was seized on 25.03.2024 by the second respondent squad from car bearing No.TN-38-CS-67077 directly to the petitioner.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.03.2024 and conduct detailed enquiry, after issuing notice to the petitioner and also affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that the petitioner is directed to produce all the supportive documents to prove the source of the said money before the first respondent.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
