O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the fourth respondent herein to complete the investigation in Cr.No.47 of 2021, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of IPC on 10.03.2021.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the petitioner's husband suffered a grievous head injury, FIR has not been registered for the offence under Section 307 IPC. Since the offence under Section 307 IPC is also made out, the petitioner requested this Court that the second respondent may be directed to monitor the investigation.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that two months' time may be given to complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Court.

4. Considering the request made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the fourth respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since the offence under Section 307 IPC is stated to be made out, the second respondent shall monitor the investigation done by the fourth respondent.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
