Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.2 to regularize the appointment of the petitioner as Animal Husbandry Assistant (Kalnadai Paramarippu Uthaviyalar) by considering the representation made by the petitioner dated 23.03.2018 on completion of 7 years service with all consequencial benefits within the time stipulated by this Court. O R D E R
The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent No.2 to regularize the appointment of the petitioner as Animal Husbandry Assistant (Kalnadai Paramarippu Uthaviyalar) by considering the representation made by the petitioner dated 23.03.2018 on completion of 7 years service with all consequencial benefits within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.Heard Mr.I.Pinaygash learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.s.S.Srimathy, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner for the past 7 years had been working at the respondent department as Animal Husbandry Assistant. However, his service has not so far been regularised. Therefore, the petitioner had given a representation to the respondents on 23.03.2018. If the said representation is considered by the respondents on merits and in accordance with law, the petitioner would be satisfied.
4.I have heard the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, who would submit that the said representation of the petitioner will be considered on merits and in accordance with law and an order to that effect would be passed, within a time frame.
5.Considering the limited scope of the writ petition and considering the submissions made by both sides, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:
"The second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.03.2018 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders thereon, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
