(Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.) The petitioner has filed the Public Interest Litigation to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from any way allowing to establish the TASMAC shop at Ward No.11, Main Bazar Street, Koodalur, Theni District on the basis of the representation, dated 26.05.2018.
2.Mr.M.Pandiarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 3 and Mr.B.Jameel Arasu, learned counsel takes notice for the second respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel
appearing for the second respondent submitted that as of date, the second respondent has no proposal to establish the TASMAC shop at Ward No.11, Main Bazar Street, Koodalur, Theni District. The learned counsel has also produced a letter, dated 18.06.2018, wherein the second respondent has stated that there is no proposal to establish the TASMAC shop in the said place.
4.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent, we do not find any reason to keep the Writ Petition pending. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
